People make wishes all the time, these wishes give people a sense of direction as to where they want to be in the future. If you had a choice of making one of the following wishes your future reality; which one would you choose?

Real Expectations Last. If you expect to be treated badly and consequently you are treated badly; you are not surprised or disappointed because your expectations have been met. It’s only when our expectations are not met that we have an emotional response to other people.
The goal in this life is to become a very good judge of other people’s character and to manage your own expectations.
Being surprised by other people’s actions is great if it’s a happy surprise; the opposite is not nearly as welcoming.
If you can learn not to expect anything from other people (always be objective rather than subjective) and only have expectations for your own behaviour, then you will live a much longer and happier life.

It doesn’t take courage to walk with the crowd or to tell everybody what they want to hear; you will witness this with most politicians who are members of a big parliamentary party, they do what they are told by the party leaders so that they will be re-elected at the next general election. It takes a lot of courage to stand out from the crowd and be an independent voice because they are normally telling truths that very few people want to acknowledge, they gain respect and enemies in equal numbers which means their political careers can be very short.
One political candidate that comes to mind is Donald Trump; I don’t agree or disagree with his statements as I will not be voting in the American election in November but the man shoots from the hip, what he thinks is out there for everybody to hear or read about. He has attracted as many friends as enemies on his campaign trail. It will make for an interesting couple of years for America if he is elected to the position of president.

When I hear stories about customers ringing up to complain about their orders being left
Some Customer Service Stories short, late deliveries or orders not received at all, I wonder, I wonder what kind of people are running the businesses that allow these events to occur. They know the customer is going to notice each of the fore mentioned events but they choose to let their customer find out the hard way (when the delivery is made or not) instead of making a five minute phone call to explain the delay or shortage. This will allow the customer to make alternatives should it be necessary, or they will be able to inform their customer that their order will be later than previously advised.
Good communication is at the heart of good customer service, it will only cost the price of a phone call, but it may save you listening to a very disgruntled customer telling you in words you would prefer not to hear how they will never use your services again.
The price of a phone call is cheap by comparison to the amount of money required to find a new customer to replace the one you’ve lost.
