Money is used to avoid real problems

Money can be used to buy things, however, if you’re not happy with the things you already have, buying more things will not change how you feel about being you.

Money is used as an excuse to avoid the real problem.

I heard this story a few years ago. A young couple were going on a foreign holiday together for the first time, at the airport the young lady was getting cold feet. She said to her partner, “if you don’t buy me that gold bracelet, I’m not going.” The young man bought the bracelet and they went on their holiday. When they got home, the young lady broke off their relationship. There’s a lesson to be learned from that short story.

“Real problems need to be identified and fixed before money can buy you more happiness.”
