You will only see what you want to see

 Some people see the colour, some see darkness, however, they exist in equal quantities.

You will only see what you want to see because you have programmed your brain to only bring certain things to your attention.

Yes, the old saying, “what you see in the world exists in you,” is true because every time you’re emotionally involved with something you see, and it doesn’t matter whether it’s a positive or negative emotion, your subconscious mind thinks you’re interest in that material and will endeavour to bring more of that material to your attention.
If you want to see a more positive world , you’ve got to make a conscious effort to look for positive events. You’ve got to pay more attention to beautiful stories, smiles , and sunsets. They’re out there, and you just have to start looking for them.

There’s always going to be positive and negative events. However it’s up to you which ones you attract into your life. I’ll leave you with one final thought.

People are as positive or negative as they choose to be.
