Hi, I’m Brendan Dunne.
I write to help people untangle the thoughts running through their heads. In between, I follow my curiosity into other corners of life—like the misadventures of my puppy, Bella, or how AI might reshape our world.

My focus is on the mechanics of the mind: how a thought appears, how it can spiral into action, and how a feeling that seems overwhelming often makes sense when you slow down to look at it properly. It’s all about turning mental noise into clarity.
I write for anyone who wants to understand themselves a little better—why you react a certain way, why a thought sticks on repeat, and how simply noticing the pattern can change what happens next. I write for myself, too, because the process is the same. Naming the experience is how we make sense of our world.
Ultimately, I hope to make a living from my books. Not just by telling stories but by helping people see that their thoughts aren’t the boss. They’re just passengers—unless you hand them the wheel.
If my writing does one thing, I hope it gives you a pause.
Because in that small space of awareness, everything else can change.
