You need good mental health to be considered wealthy

Your health is your wealth. An adage that’s as old as time itself and is true for everybody who has experienced poor health. All the money in the world will be of little use if you haven’t got the ability to enjoy the things money can buy, just ask anybody who is riddled with pain if they would swap everything they own to be able to walk, run, breathe and eat their food without pain. The answer will be yes because they know if they have their health, they have the ability to get more things should they need them.

But, what if you didn’t have to give away your wealth in order to be healthy? All you need to do is stop remembering the pain and start visualizing yourself as completely fit and healthy. Your body is amazing. It replaces every cell at least once every seven years, some cells are replaced regularly, such as red blood cells, they’re replaced approximately every four months. If you see yourself as fit and healthy, just maybe your body will start to respond to your healthy thoughts.

Remember, the placebo effect is real. People have been able to heal themselves by believing they’re taking something that will help them to heal, but it’s just their body reacting to positive thoughts.

I would be the first to admit that I don’t know how the body does this, but I do know when I cut myself, that cut will heal given the appropriate amount of time, it may leave a scar but that’s just a reminder to be more careful in the future. The same is true for broken bones. Once aligned after a break, the bone will fuse together and become stronger at that point than they were before the break.

If we used the same thought process for the rest of our aches and pains, maybe the superpower that exists in everybody will listen and create the vision you see and not the painful body you remember.

Maybe it’s time for the old adage to get an upgrade, too.

Your Positive Mental Health is Your Wealth.
