Everybody should aspire to be inspired to find things they love to do. Inspiration is that pulling force that’s within you that makes you look forward to life. “If you find something you love to do, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
Some people confuse inspiration with motivation, however that’s easily explained. Motivation is that external force that drives us to do things. For example, if you want to drive a new car, you have to earn money to pay for it, therefore you’re motivated to find work, however the new car can seem like noose around your neck if you’re not inspired by the work you find.
Inspiration is doing what you were born to do; everybody has a natural talent. For example, some people are born to be carpenters, they make everything they do look like the work of an artist.
In an ideal world, everybody would do what they love to do, however, if an article I read recently is to be believed up to seventy percent of people are merely motivated to work due to necessity. We can only hope as the world matures this figure will be one that future generations will look up in their history books and say, “wow, how things have changed.” I’ll leave you with this thought.
A motivated person will get out of bed every morning; an inspired person will get out of bed with a smile.
