You are my symbol of discontent, not happiness

happiness is found within you

If you’re not content where you are, you will look for things you think will make you feel happier, however, these things will not make you happy for they are merely symbols of your discontent. Before you can move on to pastures new,  you’ve got to find contentment with who and where you are in your life right now, only then will you be able to find what you’re really looking for.

The winter of discontent is always followed by spring flowers and long summer days. Don’t give up on your dreams but make sure they are your real dreams, not just an escape from your nightmares.

“The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence, it only looks that way from afar.” ~Anon
