You can’t change your tomorrow by changing your yesterday

We learn from our mistakes

If you could go back into your history and change one thing about yourself, what would you change?

One of the most popular answers is, “I would tell more people to **** off.” You can add your own answer in the comment section below, however, if those people did change their yesterday, they wouldn’t be the person they are today.

The people who are looking at the changing their yesterday and the mistakes they made are generally happy with the person they’re becoming, they just wish they’d become that person sooner, however they may not realise there’s a lot of truth is this old saying. “Nothing changes until you’re strong enough to handle the change and overcoming your mistakes is what gives you that strength.” ~Old Irish proverb.

Time travel is not the answer you’re looking for; yes, you can learn and grow from your mistakes, however, you cannot change them without altering who you are today.

I’ll leave you with an interesting quote. “Mistakes have the power to turn you into somebody you respect more than you did before when you learn from those mistakes.” ~Anon
