Remove yourself from the conflict

Take a step back and try to see your life without your emotions getting in the way. This is not easy and can’t be done in a day. Disentangling your emotions from something you’re very emotional about is difficult but not impossible..

This is how it’s done: You need to write your story from somebody else’s point of view. Every time you write something down that can’t be verified by somebody else, you have to remove it from your story because you may have imagined it.

For example: If you thought something and you thought somebody else agreed or disagreed with you, but neither of you said anything; this event didn’t happen.
If your actions were based on what you thought, somebody else thought about you. You have to take responsibility for those actions because you can’t prove they were thinking anything unless you can read minds.

Remember, you and only you are responsible for your thoughts, words, and actions. I’ll leave you with one final thought:

There will be times in your life when you need to step back without anger, hate, or regret and just accept you for who you are today. The reason why is summed up by the following quote:

“Darkness is replaced by light when your inner conflict ends.” ~Anon
