Always hang on to hope

you are responsible for your dreams

“To live without hope is to cease to live.” ~Fyodor Dostoevsky

You’ve got to have a reason to get up every morning with a spring in your step, it doesn’t matter how big or small your hopes are as long as you have hope for a better future..

Why is hope so important? Hope replaces stress brought about by worry. If you’re optimistic about your future you will not be worried about it, and the benefits of removing stress from your life is well documented.

  • Helps eliminate unnecessary energy drain.
  • Decreases Impatience, irritability and anger.
  • Improves physical and mental health.
  • Improves your ability to learn.
  • You sleep better at night.
  • You have more energy during the day.

Stress on the other hand leads to depression, high blood-pressure, heart attacks, sleepless nights and a barely working immune system. People who suffer from stress will also suffer from insecurity and anxiety.

Remember: Hope and worry are two sides of the same coin, it’s up to the owner of the coin which side they choose to focus on. I’ll leave you with a quote from a famous television character who never gave up on hope.

“This time next year we’ll be millionaires.” ~Del Boy Trotter. (Only fools and horses.)
