Everybody you know is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Form the most successful business people to the most beautiful people on the planet, there’s no difference, they’re all trying to overcome their insecurities, both the ones they inherited from their parents and the ones they adopted as they were growing up.
The most successful lives are lived by people who accept their lives will never be perfect, and that’s exactly how it was supposed to be because perfection is an idea that’s only fulfilled in Disney films.
You could ask, how does somebody who claims to write about being positive tell people to accept they will do a lot of stuff that’s not positive? There’s one simple reason, it’s the truth and not only that, with the acceptance that you will not live a perfect life comes a certain amount of freedom. It frees you from all the stress you apply to your own actions and behaviour. A stress free life is a happy life.
Don’t stress about making blunders. Everybody makes them. However, not everybody is brave enough to free themselves from their blunders. Remember: “Everybody man dies, not every man really lives.” ~William Wallace.
I’ll leave you with this quote I saw online recently, which fits in really well with this post.
“Be brave enough to suck at something new every day.” ~Anon
