Once you learn to walk you do it automatically

Once you learn to walk you do it automatically. Once you learn to eat solid food you do it automatically. Once you learn to speak you do that automatically too, however, sometimes that isn’t the best course of action; from time to time it’s worth thinking about what you’re going to say before you say it, that way you’ll not put your foot into the conversation.

Three things you cannot recover in life:

  1. A moment after it happened.
  2. Time you’ve wasted.
  3. Words once they leave your mouth.

Of course, if you’re lucky there will always be more moments to treasure and time you’ve enjoyed wasting is never a waste of time, however, you need to remember, an apology for a misspoken word is rarely believed. I’ll leave you with one final thought.

Think before you speak words that you’ll live long enough to regret
