You only have to predict a catastrophe once

The world is a better place to live if you believe tomorrow is going to be better than today.

The world will tremble. Birds will fall from the skies. The earth is warming up. Fires will force all to flee before its wrath. The end is nigh. Water shall pour forth from the sea to engulf all who stand before it. A plague shall descend upon the human race.

Some read those lines and declare prophecy while others will see them for what they are. History repeating itself. Everything has a cycle, everything that has happened in nature is set to repeat itself eventually.

It doesn’t take a genius or a prophet to figure that out, you just need to be a good historian.

As you can see doom and gloom is easy to predict. However, predicting a better tomorrow requires more courage because that’s something that’s going to unfold with blinding accuracy right before your eyes. Get it wrong and you’re not going to be trusted with another prediction. Get it right and you’re only safe for another day.

expect yourself to be the best you can be

The thing about predicting the future if you want to go down that path is to give everybody the power to predict their own future. Like the law of attraction does in every line; if you’re not attracting the things you want into your life, you’re doing something wrong. A get out jail free card every time.

Really, the only thing you should predict about the future is how you feel about its arrival. It’s the only thing you can hope to have some control over.

If you begin each morning with a prayer of gratitude for being allowed to live another day, your feelings about your future will improve every day.
