I don’t want you to change, that’s up to you

If you don’t want to change, I don’t want you to change either.

It’s all up to you.

In the words of Bruce Lee, “I’m not in this world to live up to your expectations and you’re not in this world to live up to mine.”

And in the words of Somebody not quite so famous, “If you want to change, nobody can stop you, if you don’t want to change, nobody can help you.”

In essence, you are responsible for your life and you can improve every area of your life just by changing your attitude towards the life you’ve been given.

Remember. You are not alone in this world. Everybody you know has an Achilles’ heal, if you don’t know what theirs is, you’re not that close. If you do know what it is, let them deal with it unless they ask you for help.

If you’re not prepared to share your internal battle with the people you know, don’t expect them to be in a position to help you.

“If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.” ~Maya Angelou.
