The secret to acquiring wealth is helping other people

The first step on your path to acquiring wealth is not spending all your time thinking about money, that’s the quickest way of ending up poor because if you spend all the time thinking about the money you haven’t got, you will acquire no more money than the money you already possess. The first step on your journey to acquiring wealth is to ask yourself every morning. “How can I help someone else today?”

There are a lot of people who will tell you, that the universe will provide you with the wealth you desire. All you have to do is ask for it and believe you deserve it. They will also tell you that if you don’t receive the wealth you desire, you are the source of the problem, you’re not asking for wealth in the right way, or deep down you don’t think you deserve to have all that wealth.

The majority of people believe that you get nothing for nothing in this life, and I agree. As far back as the human race goes there was a barter system operating between people. Something has always swapped for something you didn’t have in exchange for something you did have.

Hard work and honesty is not the way to achieve wealth, you have only so many hours in any given week in which to sell your services. You may achieve more money the more hours you work, but that still will not make you wealthy.

Wealth comes from that sentence: “How can I help you today?” What do you have that is so special that people are prepared to exchange their money for your services. If it’s anything to do with education, you can forget about being wealthy because millions of people earn degrees which only shows the ability to remember facts and figures and put them down on paper in a pattern which is pleasing to the person marking the paper.

Knowledge, even specific knowledge is not going to make you wealthy either because knowledge is everywhere, if you have access to the internet? You can acquire any amount of knowledge.

Experience: Experience is the collection of mistakes that is acquired throughout one’s lifetime, the mistakes you learn from one position may help you in another position because the processes and procedures are similar, but regardless of your experience, you will get a whole new experience in any new position, as long as you have the ability to learn, you will succeed in that position but it will not make you wealthy.

“How can I help you today?” Is the way to acquire wealth, but the answer is not about you, it’s not about your education, knowledge or experience. What’s left? I don’t know because if I did I’d be wealthy already, but I believe with all my heart that it is something to do with how your creative ideas can help improve other people’s lives in a meaningful way because;

“If you help enough people to reach their goals; your goal to acquire wealth will be reached at the same time.” ~ The path to riches.
