“The day you focus on what you do not want is the day you start attracting those things into your life.” Your mindset is the only thing you can control, if you develop a positive one you will attract positive things into your life.

A good example is when somebody thinks; “I don’t want to be overweight.” All that’s being brought to their attention is things associated with being overweight.
If they changed that thought into, “I want to be healthy,” they will focus on things that will lead them to a healthier lifestyle.
In both cases, the goal is the same, except if they use the second example, the journey to reach the goal will be more enjoyable.
Sports people have been using this attitude to win for as long as people have played sports. They do not think about losing. The moment they do that, they’re giving their competition a helping hand. The true winners will only concentrate on what they need to do to win.
