You are at the mercy of your emotions until experience teaches you to master them.
Love hurts; no teacher can make you understand those two words like experience will. If you don’t understand how love hurts, you’ve never lost something you’ve loved. That’s just one example of understanding everybody (I mean most people) will understand, however, it transcends across everything you do in life because experience is learning lessons the hard way and lessons you learn the hard way will be with you forever.
Not making mistakes is not your purpose in life, everybody makes mistakes, the trick is to learn not to repeat them.
