Some people think their only responsibility is to identify people’s mistakes

you cannot please every critic

Some people think they’re only responsibility is to find other people’s mitsakes, that’s okay if they’re going to provide an alternative solution, however, if all they’re going to do is find the mistake, that’s a pointless exercise.

The current global pandemic is a typical example of this situation. This type of virus is new, nobody knows how it’s going to mutate and the people in power are doing everything they can to limit its destructiveness. They have to make decisions.

History will tell us whether they made the right decisions, or not; but in the mean time we have to listen to the scare-mongers, the conspiracy theorists and anybody else who has an opinion telling us about the terrible mistakes they’re making. This doesn’t help.

If everybody who is complaining about what they’re doing wrong offered an alternative feasible solution, that would help, at least it would offer the decision makers something to think about.

I’ll leave you with this interesting quote.

“You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.” ~Abraham Lincoln.
