9 ideas on life I’d share with everybody today

  1. No debate was ever won by defending your opinion. If you don’t know both sides of the topic you’re discussing, you’re not an expert. You’ve just got an opinion.
  2. You have to understand who you are and what you stand for because you have to be able to listen to people critique your ideas without getting offended.
  3. Be open-minded. The conclusions you’ve drawn to date need to be open to change as new facts emerge.
  4. Only share information online that you are proud to stand behind because what’s shared online is online forever.
  5. If you don’t understand why people are saying nasty things about somebody else, STOP listening to them.
  6. Don’t be a hypocrite. If somebody else is doing the same things you did? You are in no position to berate them.
  7. You’ve got to act like the people you want to interact with. “Karma.” I’ve heard people say everybody I attract into my life is an idiot. (Think about what that means about them.)
  8. Try not to belong to any group who believe in any word ending in ism. (Life’s too short.)
  9. Expect the unexpected, and you’ll never be surprise by what shows up in your life.
