- No debate was ever won by defending your opinion. If you don’t know both sides of the topic you’re discussing, you’re not an expert. You’ve just got an opinion.
- You have to understand who you are and what you stand for because you have to be able to listen to people critique your ideas without getting offended.
- Be open-minded. The conclusions you’ve drawn to date need to be open to change as new facts emerge.
- Only share information online that you are proud to stand behind because what’s shared online is online forever.
- If you don’t understand why people are saying nasty things about somebody else, STOP listening to them.
- Don’t be a hypocrite. If somebody else is doing the same things you did? You are in no position to berate them.
- You’ve got to act like the people you want to interact with. “Karma.” I’ve heard people say everybody I attract into my life is an idiot. (Think about what that means about them.)
- Try not to belong to any group who believe in any word ending in ism. (Life’s too short.)
- Expect the unexpected, and you’ll never be surprise by what shows up in your life.
