Learn to be okay with the life you’re living

The secret to a peaceful life isn’t about letting it go, it’s about letting it be. By that I mean.

Be okay with not knowing things.

Be okay with being angry sometimes.

Be okay with being sad.

Be okay with not being liked by everybody.

Be okay with not liking yourself sometimes.

Be okay with making mistakes, just try not to keep making the same one.

Be okay with feeling stupid.

Be okay with being fearful for your future.

Be okay with regret, everybody believes they could have handled things differently. (They couldn’t.)

Be okay with being the smartest person in the room.

Be okay with your need to be liked.

Be okay with your desire to fit in.

Be okay with bragging about your abilities.

Be okay with asking for help.

Be okay with how you look today. (Everyone has good and bad hair days.)

Be okay with feeling a little crazy.

Be okay with feeling happy.

Be okay with your accomplishments.

Be okay with how fit you are today.

Be okay with not liking everybody else.

Be okay with feeling envious.

Be okay with people not agreeing with you.

Be okay with expressing how you feel.

Be okay with your silence.

Be okay with feeling happy for other people’s accomplishments.

If we’re lucky we’ll all live for a long time, and during that lifetime we will experience every possible emotion. Be okay with that.

Why? Because, you’re only human after all.

How many of you have read this far and are now humming, “let it be,” by the Beatles. I know I am and I’m okay with that.

Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be. There will be an answer, let it be.
