You can’t get fit in five minutes, however, you can end your desire to get fit in that length of time. Please allow me to explain.

I was out walking the other day as I do most days when a person passed me by, I don’t like to judge a book by its cover, however, this person didn’t seem to be enjoying themselves. In fact, they looked like they were ready to collapse. They were drenched in sweat and didn’t exactly have the physique of someone who exercises on a regular basis.
This looked like someone who was trying to get fit in five minutes. I personally believe it will have the opposite effect because the mind is designed to keep us safe, if you overexert your body, the mind will begin to identify excuses to avoid exercising in the future. If that person had stopped when they were still enjoying the exercise, their mind would be encouraging them to do it again.
I’ve used the example of getting fit in five minutes, however, getting fit can be exchanged with getting thin, or any other physiological/psychological change you want to see. The mind and body must be in agreement with the long-term change you want to see.
I’ll leave you with one final thought.
Always exercise within your comfort zone because if what you’re doing doesn’t make your mind happy, you won’t be doing it for very long.
