Everything I write is written as if everybody will read it even if nobody does, that’s how your thoughts should be too.
When I say everything I write, I mean everything. This includes comments on social media platforms, texts to people, everything on this site, notes on my phone, and even words on a shopping list.
The reason I write them as if everybody will read them is because those words represent how I think about myself, and I believe it’s essential to have a positive sense of self.

In a similar vein, your thoughts represent how you think about yourself, too. If your thoughts are generally positive, keep thinking like you do. However, if your thoughts are generally negative, you need to start believing everyone can read your thoughts. The reason being, observation changes everything. Allow me to explain.
The majority of people’s behaviour changes when they think they’re being observed. A security camera is an excellent example of this phenomenon. Just remember how your behaviour changed when you noticed the television showing the security footage as you went into the supermarket. Another example is when people see themselves on the big screen at any sporting event.
In a nutshell, you can change what you observe, you cannot change anything you ignore.
Just imagine the following.
Oh, what an interesting place the world would be if thoughts were as easy to read as the written word. Instead of parents telling toddlers to mind their manners, they’d be telling them to mind their thoughts. And every child would grow up to be a positive adult.
I’ll leave you with one final thought.
Your thoughts have the power to change your life, and you have power over them.
