Rumours and humans have the same destination

The truth is immortal, it will always exist as long as people are around to hear it, unlike rumour which has a finite existence. As soon as people stop spreading false stories, they cease to exist.

For example. If everybody on the planet was to suffer from amnesia and every record of history burned or deleted? In one hundred years from now the science books would be exactly the same, however, we’d have a lot of new religions.

And that’s why the cemetery is the burial place of rumour, it rarely outlives its human owner.
