If you allow other people’s opinions to overly influence your world, you may end up seeing their world instead of your own.

For example. How well do you know someone else? Is that based on your interactions with them, or is it based on what other people are saying about them? Vladimir Putin has four children who may see him in a different light from a lot of Europeans at this moment in time. Needless to say, I’ve no idea what he’s like as a person. However, from everything I’ve heard about him, that’s not something I want to change. This means I’m allowing other people’s opinions to influence my world.
That’s an extreme example, but the same scenario is played out on a daily basis with everyone in your life. That’s why the following sentence will always be true.
The world is full of people who are misunderstood.
