You are not obliged to defend anybody else

You are not obliged to defend anybody else’s reputation. You’re not even obliged to defend your own. Just imagine the following scenario.

“I’m disappointed in you.” And what makes you think I care about your opinion of me? It’s a question that will not be answered by anything that makes sense.

The only opinion of you that matters is your own opinion, and that one should be as honest as possible because.

Accepting yourself as you are will set you free.
