People are too busy living their own lives

There’s very little point in getting too emotionally attached to your own opinions because the majority of people will generally ignore them unless you’re offending or complimenting them.

That’s the reality of life and perfectly normal because our minds are designed to make our lives as simple as possible. Cognitive dissonance and confirmation bias will explain it for the people who like to understand the science behind behaviour.

The greatest gift you can give yourself is the ability to remain silent when you hear anything you disagree with and gratitude for the things you agree with because it’s incredibly difficult to argue with silence, while focusing on gratitude will attract more things to be grateful for into your life.

In essence, people are too busy living their own lives to be concerned about your opinions.

P.S. The people who argue with strangers over an opinion have nothing better to do. The term “get a life” wouldn’t be lost on them.
