If you think having a high IQ is going to make your life easier or better, you’re in for an interesting surprise. It won’t. What will make your life easier and better is the ability to laugh at yourself and at every mistake you’ve ever made. There’s a very good reason for that perspective, and that is, you’re not going to get any more intelligent than you are at eighteen. However, you’re guaranteed to make mistakes. I’ll leave you with one final thought.
Never confuse intelligence and common sense, the two are rarely found together because common sense is nowhere near as common as intelligence.
