Being offended is a choice you make

Dolly Parton once said, “I’m not offended by stupid blonde jokes because I’m not stupid, and I’m not really blonde either.” It’s a lesson everyone can learn about taking offence. In reality, you should never be offended by either a lie or a truth because a lie is normally shared by people who are trying to deflect attention away from themselves, and the truth is the truth and will remain the truth until it’s proven to be false based on new facts being discovered. In essence, you should always ignore lies and embrace the truth.

P.S. You will never be able to acquire enough evidence to prove or disprove a lie because it’s a figment of someone’s insecurity.
