Stories and essays on identity, creative thought, and everyday common sense.

What and who is of interest to you?

Your life is based on what and who you’re interested in. If you’re interested in nothing, then your life means nothing to you. Thankfully, there are very few people who are interested in nothing. Mind you, a lot of people are just interested in complaining about their life instead of doing something about it. Mainly because they don’t understand that they are the source of their problems. Remember, everything you accomplish in life for yourself and everyone else emanates from your interest in what and who you are.

If you’re not interested in music, then you won’t be interested in musicians. If you’re not interested in films, then you won’t be interested in actors. If you’re not  interested in friends, then you won’t be interested in the passing away of Matthew Perry. If you’re not interested in nature, then you won’t be interested if something in nature goes extinct. If you’re not interested in yourself, then you won’t be interested in life.

Remember, all preservation begins with self-preservation.

Your perception of the world is mirrored by your perception of yourself. If you think you’re interesting, so will everyone else. I’ll leave you with one final thought.

If you want to live in an interesting world, find out what interests you, then find people who have similar interests.
