Your reality is based on what you choose to sense. You can choose to listen to thunder, see the storm clouds on the horizon, feel the dread of oncoming problems, or you can choose to sense the opposite, like my friend Myra. Please enjoy Myra’s story.
Myra’s story.
In a land not so different from our own, there was a young dreamer named Myra. She lived in a village nestled between the snowy mountains and the Aragonic Sea, where every day seemed ordinary. Yet, something extraordinary stirred within her. Myra had a gift, though she did not realise it at first—she could shape the world around her simply through her senses.
It all began one quiet evening as Myra sat by the lake. The sun was setting in hues of gold and lavender, and the air was filled with the scent of blooming jasmine. A soft whisper seemed to call out from the wind, faint but clear: “Look closely, Myra. The world is more than what you see.”
At first, she thought it was just her imagination, but the whispers grew stronger, carrying words of kindness, hope, and wisdom. Wherever she went, these gentle words followed, guiding her thoughts toward a deeper understanding. Soon, Myra noticed something else. Every time she focused on these whispers—listening to their comforting messages—the world around her became more vibrant, more alive.
She would gaze at the mountains, and they would shimmer with colours she had never seen before. The ocean waves would dance in rhythm with the songs the wind hummed. Flowers bloomed larger, their petals glowing in hues more brilliant than any she had known. Her senses had begun to create a new reality. The more Myra listened, the more beauty she saw, and the more beauty she saw, the more peace she felt within herself.
One day, an elder from the village approached her, his wise eyes twinkling with understanding. “Do you see what is happening, Myra?” he asked. “You are shaping the world with your senses. What you choose to hear, see, and feel becomes your reality. The words you allow into your heart and the images you embrace create the world you live in.”
Myra pondered this. Could it be true? She realised that the whispers were always there—encouraging her, reminding her of hope and love—but only when she chose to focus on them did her world transform.

From that day on, Myra began to intentionally craft her reality. She tuned her ears to the whispers of kindness, and they grew louder, drowning out the noise of doubt and fear. She let her eyes rest on the beauty around her—the golden glow of sunlight, the delicate patterns of leaves—and the world became richer, more vibrant. Even in moments of struggle, she searched for the beauty hidden in shadows and the lessons whispered through hardship.
The village around her began to change as well. People noticed the beauty Myra saw and felt it themselves. They began to speak in softer tones, share words of encouragement, and appreciate the wonders of the world. Mira had sparked a quiet revolution, one that rippled through her community, reminding everyone that the world we live in is shaped by how we choose to sense it.
In time, Myra learned that this power was not hers alone. Every person had the ability to create their own world, simply by choosing what to see, hear, and feel. The whispers of wisdom were always there, waiting for those who would listen. The beauty of life was always present, waiting for those who would look.
And so, Myra continued her journey, crafting a life filled with wonder, peace, and endless beauty. Through her senses, she created a world where hope bloomed and joy was woven into every sunrise.
In the end, she understood the simple truth: We create the world we live in through what we choose to sense.
