Time doesn’t rush you, people do

“Life doesn’t come with a clock—but one day, yours will stop.”

Let that sink in.

No alarm is ringing to tell you it’s “too late” to start, to change, to leap. No countdown is flashing in the corner of your vision, pressuring you to hurry up and figure it all out. Time doesn’t rush you—people do.

But here’s the catch: One day, the ticking will end. Not because life demanded it, but because that’s how physics—and fate—work.

So what do you do about that? Panic? Obsess? No. You live like a clock isn’t even there.

Start something new. Leave the thing. Love harder. Rest deeper. Take the trip. Quit the job. Wear the stupid outfit with pride. Speak your mind. Apologize or don’t, afterwards.

The only real deadline is death—and ironically, that’s the one thing you don’t have to prepare for. So forget about “on time.” Or “too late.” Your life isn’t a schedule—it’s a one-time, wild, fleeting show.

The clock’s irrelevant. The living isn’t.
