Bella’s latest balloon escapade

Mission Balloon: Operation Float Patrol

My humans think balloons are decorations. I know the truth. They are living, floating marvels of joy.

The moment I see one, my tail becomes a helicopter. My eyes widen, and my paws dance on the floor. It’s not just a balloon—it’s destiny, hovering above me, waiting to be intercepted.

I leap. I boop. I bark. Each bounce is a victory, and every squeak a love song. When the humans groan, “Bella, leave the balloon alone,” I hear only, “Bella, you alone understand the balloon.”

Sometimes, the balloons escape to the ceiling. That is their fortress. They taunt me with their gentle sway, knowing full well I cannot climb walls. Yet still, I watch. Patient. Loyal.

Because balloons and Bella belong together. One floats, the other bounds. One drifts, the other chases. Together, we are Operation Float Patrol: guardians of joy in an otherwise ordinary world.

And when a balloon finally drifts low enough for me to catch—oh, the triumph. My snout nudges it skyward. My heart soars higher than helium itself.

For as long as balloons exist, Bella will love them. Fiercely. Forever.

The Bella Universe is where you’ll find more Bella stories.
