You can’t know what other people are thinking

Fortune Teller
Mind readers do not exist.

“Life is an echo. What you send out comes back. What you sow, you reap. What you give, you get. What you see in other people exists in you.” ~Zig Ziglar.

Life is but a reflection of your thoughts, when you’re feeling happy, you see happiness in everybody else; when you’re feeling sad, you see a tear in the eye of everybody you meet. The truth is that you can’t know what somebody else is feeling or thinking because people are unique. Stories that are sad to one person may not be sad to somebody who has had a different life experience.

For example, if a relationship breaks up, a person who has been lucky enough to enjoy years of a happiness with their partner might think it’s sad, but if a person who is with an abusive partner hears the same story, they might think, “Luck smiles on some,” and be happy that they decided to break up, and give each other a fresh start.

Happy, positive people attract happy positive events into their life, just as sad people attract nobody. Good attentive listeners will attract people who like to hear the sound of their own voice. Empathic people will hear the woes of the world if they’re not careful.  Kind people will attract people who will take advantage of their kindness for as long as it lasts, because eventually the kind person becomes a cynical person because of that experience.

What other people are thinking is a gift you will not receive in this lifetime, if scriptures are correct, it may be something you get to experience when you’re finished with the life you’ve been given. We are here for a reason but from what I have experience, we may be a long way away before we understand that reason, or if we don’t accomplish that goal, we may get another go on the wheel of life.

Balance is the key to a contented life; have enough happiness, sadness, anger, sympathy, joy, empathy and kindness in your life to make it a life you are happy to live.
