You’ll have plenty of time to do that when you’re older.
This isn’t the message any young person wants to hear because they’re watching older people do the things they do and they think older people are boring.
It’s not until the young person matures, and this can happen at any age because that’s how it works will the young person understand the wisdom in the following sentence.
Do the things only young people can do when you’re young, everything else can wait.
Now it’s time to make a list under the following headings.
What can only be done by young people?
What can be done regardless of age?
What do old people prefer not to do?
Most people’s lists will be different because people are unique, however, there will be similarities. I’ll give you one to get you started, the rest is up to you.
Young people want to party all night while older people just want to sleep through the night without being woken up by young people.
Believe me when I tell you, dreams are what makes your life worthwhile, if you don’t have a dream you’ve nothing to look forward to.
Living from week to week making ends meet, achieving nothing, doing nothing, living for nothing is not a life anybody wants, yet in reality, that’s exactly how a lot of people exist, so dream my friends, dream big and often. Spend hours dreaming about what you’re going to spend your lottery winnings on, where you’ll go, what you’ll see, and who you’ll be with. That’s the reality you want to see.
Remember, your happiness is directly liked to your dreams, not your reality. However, one day, if you dream with a purpose, your dreams will become your reality.
The virus has identified people with the best mental health. Why? There’s enough anecdotal evidence to determine there’s a direct link between mental health and physical health. In order to show how the virus has shown us that information, we have to eliminate some groups.
I’m eliminating the super-rich and the very poor from this post because one group has complete control over available medical intervention while the the other group has no control or may not have access to any medicines at all. And yes, I agree with you that it’s not fair, but to be perfectly honest, the world is and always has been full of inequality.
The countries who maintained strict control over their borders can’t be included either because they didn’t allow the virus to show us the whole truth, however, we can say with some confidence they put health before wealth. Mind you, unless they vaccinate their entire population, that truth will unfold in the future.
We’ve eliminated the super-rich, the very poor, and the protected populations. However, everyone else can be excluded, too, except for people who are old or people who have pre-existing medical conditions. Why? They were never really at risk from the virus anyway.
The opening line of this post is misleading, the only thing the virus has taught the world as a whole is, Governments will put everyone in jail to protect 2% of the population instead of putting 2% in jail and letting everyone else get on with living their life.
Each individual will have learned a great deal more about their mental health, the people who came out the other side of the pandemic without being traumatised by the continuous negative stories being shared by everybody are the people with excellent mental health.
I’ll leave you with one final thought.
Don’t get caught up in unnecessary drama and remember good mental health is and always will be the key to a good life.
You’ve just inherited $1.5 million, what does your future look like? Will it change you?
Simple questions do not necessarily have simple answers, however, in order for money not to change who you are, you will already understand that nothing worth having can be bought.
