If You Were a Billionaire, How Would You Prioritise Who to Help?

There are roughly 8 billion people on Earth. Let’s say 1%—about 80 million—are financially secure and don’t need help. That leaves 99% who could benefit from support in some way.

If you had billions, how would you decide where to focus? Would you:

Fight extreme poverty, lifting up those struggling for basic survival?

Invest in education, giving future generations the tools to break cycles of hardship?

Tackle health care, ensuring life-saving treatments reach those who can’t afford them?

Empower innovation, funding solutions that create long-term change?

Support mental health, recognising that well-being goes beyond just money?

Become a president, and start using the money of that country to achieve those goals.

The truth is, no one person can fix everything. But the right focus can create ripple effects that change millions of lives.

If you had unlimited resources, who would you help first?
