Perfect in your own space

🌱 You’re Perfect in Your Own Space.

You’re not fat. You’re just standing too close to skinny people.

It sounds like a joke, but it’s really about perspective. Put a candle beside the sun, and it appears insignificant. However, if you put the candle in a dark room, it lights it up like a miniature sun.

You see, Perspective tricks us like that. Comparison sneaks in, whispers in our ear, and suddenly we feel “too much” or “not enough.”

But here’s the thing: as long as you can live your life the way you want to—laugh when you feel like laughing, love who you love, wear what makes you feel good, and chase the things that light you up—then you’re already perfect. Not perfect compared to someone else. Perfect for you.

Perfection isn’t a measurement. It’s a permission slip. It’s the freedom to be yourself without apology, no matter who’s standing beside you. So stop shifting yourself to fit the wrong room. Find the space where you belong, where your laugh is never too loud, your dreams are never too big, and your presence is never too much. Because in that space, with the right people, you’ll realise: you were perfect all along.
