Stop checking the audience.

You probably shouldn’t care whether people are happy or sad for you.

Not because their feelings don’t matter, but because they aren’t your responsibility.

Some people will celebrate your success. Some will wonder why you changed. Others may quietly wish you hadn’t.

That’s life.

You don’t need everyone to understand your choices before you’re allowed to make them.

Stop checking the audience.

If you’re becoming happier, wiser, kinder and more yourself, keep going.

You were never meant to live your life by someone else’s emotional scoreboard.

Your life belongs to you.
